APOHEALTH Macrogol with Electrolytes provides effective relief from constipation, treatment of chronic constipation and treatment of faecal impaction (as diagnosed by your doctor).

Once you have made up the powder in water, put it in the fridge (2 to 8°C) and keep it covered.

Ingredients:

Sachets containing white crystalline powder with
a fruity odour. Lactose free. Contains gluten.

Active Ingredient(s):

• Macrogol 3350 13.125 g
• Sodium Chloride 350.7 mg
• Sodium Bicarbonate 178.5 mg
• Potassium Chloride 46.6 mg

Usage Directions:

Do not exceed stated dose. Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125 mL of water, then drink it. Adults and children 12 years of age and over:

Constipation: 1 sachet daily. Increase to 2 or 3 sachets daily if required. Faecal impaction as diagnosed by a doctor: 8 sachets in 6 hours for no longer than 3 days. Children under 12 years of age:

Do not use this medicine. Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre into the diet, except in cases of medication-induced constipation. If symptoms persists, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

 

Storage:

Store below 25°C.

Warnings:

This medicine may not be right for you. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. 

Do not use in children under the age of 12. If you have a heart condition do not take more than 2 sachets in any one hours. If symptoms persist consult your doctor or pharmacist. Prolonged use of laxatives is not recommended and may lead to dependency. Contains 188mg of sodium and 24mg of potassium per sachet. Also contains gluten and saccharin.
