Description:

Thin absorbent self-adherent foam dressing with 360o stretch Flex Technology.

Mepilex Border Flex Lite is designed for the management of a wide range of non- to moderately exuding wounds, such as leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and traumatic wounds e.g., abrasions, blisters, and skin tears. Mepilex Border Flex Lite can also be used as protection of compromised and/or fragile skin.

A wound dressing with Safetac silicone adhesive. The Safetac technology has been clinically demonstrated to minimise damage to the wound and skin during removal, assisting in minimised pain during dressing change.

Designed to stay on and uniquely conform with its innovative 360° Flex Technology that allows the dressing to confirm in every direction, reducing skin stress, increasing comfort, and keeping the dressing in-situ. The conformability is up to 4X better than Mepilex Border Lite.

The smart exudate management for the Mepilex Border Flex Lite dressing means the unique 4-layer dressing absorbs and channels exudate away from the wound bed, allowing you to track exudate progress without disturbing the wound.

Mepilex Border Flex Lite provides an optimal balance of exudate absorption and moisture vapour loss, maximising exudate management for or non to moderately exuding wounds.

Usage Directions:

Follow instructions on pack or as directed by your healthcare professional.

1. Cleanse the wound according to clinical practice. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.

2. Select an appropriate size/shape. The wound pad should cover the dry surrounding skin by at least 1-2 cm.

3. Remove the first release film and apply the adherent side to the wound.

4. Remove the remaining release film(s) and smooth down the border on the skin. Do not stretch the dressing.

Storage:

Store below 30°C, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

Warnings:

Seek medical advice immediately for all serious wounds or injuries, or if redness or discomfort occurs.

This product is not a substitute for direct medical attention from a healthcare practitioner.

Always read the label. Use as directed.

Do not use on patient with known hypersensitivity to the dressing or its ingoing materials.

Do not use together with oxidising agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide.

If you see signs of clinical infection e.g., fever or the wound or surrounding skin becoming red, warm or swollen, consult a health care professional for appropriate treatment.

Do not reuse. If reused performance of the product may deteriorate, cross contamination may occur.

Sterile. Do not use if sterile barrier is damaged or opened prior to use. Do not re-sterilise.
